History

On September 16, 1996, the local Government of Bauko, Mountain Province represented by Honorable SARIO M MALINIAS, Municipal Mayor and Bureau of Jail Management and Penology – Bauko Station representedby SJO2 Jose D Mangay-at accepts and recieves the lot donation under Tax Declaration No. 3173 more particularly described as follows:

“ A parcel of the municipal compound with a total land area of 72.30 square meters with surveys particulars under line 1-2 with bearing of North 8 Degrees East, line 2-3 with bearing of North 40 Degrees West, line 3-4 with bearing of North .85 Degrees West, line 4-5 with the bearing of South 25 Degrees West, and line 5-1 with the bearing og South 80 Degrees East, located at Municipal Compound, Abatan, Bauko, Mt. Province.”

That on the 7th day of March 2005, the Bureau of Jail and Management and Penology – Bauko Station represented by SJO4 Mark A Coplat acquired through donation from the local Government Unit of Bauko, Mt. Province represented by Mayor SIMON C LACWASAN, a portion of a real property with an area of 72 square meters situated at Abatan, Bauko, Mt. Province and described in the records of the Provincial Assessors Office, Bontoc Mt. Province under Tax Declaration No. 13414.

The Bauko Municipal Jail was funded by the Jail Bureau with three (3) cells and can accommodate a maximum of six (6) Person Deprived of Liberty .
