
With the theme, “Tatlong Dekada ng Mahusay na Serbisyo Publiko, Matibay na Sandigan sa Tunay na Pagbabago”, BJMP-CAR celebrated its 30th Anniversary on August 12, 2021 via Facebook livestreaming. With the leadership of the Chief, BJMP, Jail Director ALLAN S IRAL, CESE and the Regional Director, JSSUPT ROLAND LEE NG CAEL, DSC, BJMP-CAR continues to aim for excellence through its human resource, improved jail facilities, welfare and development programs and community-driven initiatives in attaining the public service, the clients truly deserve BJMP-CAR in its thirty years of existence continuously labored to perform well and walk extra miles to excel in public service especially in jail management
One of the highlights of the activity was the Awarding of BJMP CAR’s Best 2021 as one of the Bureau’s initiatives in recognizing the sacrifices and significant accomplishments of all deserving personnel and jail units. The awarding includes individual awards, unit awards and medals. Special awards were also given to Local Government Units, Government Organizations, Non- Government Organizations, private individuals and other stakeholders who made significant contributions in realizing the BJMP’s mandate- safekeeping and development of Persons Deprived of Liberty. Retirees were also bestowed with retirement honors during the awarding.
The noteworthy accomplishments of BJMP-CAR for July 2020-July 2021 was also presented by the father of BJMP-CAR, the Regional Director, JSSUPT ROLAND LEE NG CAEL, DSC. The said accomplishments were presented based on the 4G Management Strategy- Guard the Gate, Guard the Badge, Guard the Purse and Guard the Life. The accomplishments featured comprises of the intensified jail security measures that led to the confiscation of contrabands, dry run of OPLANs, drug test to personnel and PDL which all yielded negative results, implementation of ELCAC activities, recruitment, promotion of personnel, continuous personnel development through conduct of trainings and seminars, giving of awards and recognition to deserving personnel, COVID-19 vaccination of personnel and PDL, and implementation of high impact programs for PDL which includes electronic visitation or the ‘e-dalaw’, livelihood programs , skills training, and conduct of community relations activities.
